Description

The ASUS ROG Strix GS-BE18000 is a high-performance tri-band WiFi 7 gaming router designed for competitive gaming, multi-gigabit internet, 4K/8K streaming, large file transfers and homes with many connected devices.

It provides a combined theoretical wireless capacity approaching 18,000Mbps across three bands: up to 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, 5764Mbps on 5GHz and 11,529Mbps on 6GHz. BE18000 Tri-Band WiFi 7 Performance

The GS-BE18000 operates simultaneously across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands.

The 5GHz band supports channels up to 160MHz wide, while the 6GHz band supports channels up to 320MHz.

The BE18000 figure is the combined theoretical capacity of all three wireless bands. It is not the speed one device or internet connection will necessarily achieve. Next-Generation WiFi 7

WiFi 7 introduces several technologies designed to improve wireless speed, capacity and latency in demanding environments.

320MHz Channel Support

The 6GHz band supports channels up to 320MHz wide—twice the maximum channel width normally associated with WiFi 6. This provides more wireless capacity for compatible WiFi 7 devices.

A compatible client, supported regional channel availability and suitable wireless conditions are required to use 320MHz channels.

4096-QAM

WiFi 7’s 4096-QAM, also called 4K-QAM, can carry more data within each wireless signal than the 1024-QAM modulation used by WiFi 6.

Multi-Link Operation

Multi-Link Operation allows compatible WiFi 7 clients to use or coordinate connections across multiple frequency bands.
